Earth Day is a day that most people around the world forget about. I will have to admit that I forget about it most years too. Though, this year there has been a lot of hype about it.

I love the Earth. It’s an amazing place to live. The beauty of it is just…well, there is really no way to put into words the beauty of the world we live in. I think that most people foret and take for granted what the Earth gives us.

Where I live though, there is a lot of people that take pride in taking care of the Earth. (AKA: HIppies) We have a lot of enviormentalists in our city and they love it. It’s their passion.

To me though, Earth day is just one of those days where I think it’s good to just take a step back and look around at the world you live in. Go for a walk and just listen to the birds or watch the clouds (if it’s not raining). You may learn something new about yourself or about the place you call home.
